Top 10 Ways To Reduce Cancer Risk

1. Avoid Fatty food – You didn’t like to read this, as you would have heard and read akin times that fatty food is harmful for your health. Taking fatty food in excess would not only trim your waistline but also reduce cancer risk. On the other hand intake of fat every other day increases the chances of developing cancer in the long run.

According to a study published online in the Journal of the National Cancer it was revealed that those who take fat 40 percent in their daily calories were 23 percent more likely to develop pancreatic cancer. There should be a limit to your fat intake to 20 to 35 percent of your calories.

2. Eat Spinach – Yes you read it right. You should be like the famous cartoon character Popeye who relied more on spinach to get strength. According to a report of the International Journal of Cancer, people who rely on foliate rich leafy greens can have less risk of developing cancer than those who do not eat it.

3. Eat more Blackberry – In order to reduce cancer risk eat blackberry. The fruit contains powerful antioxidant called anthocyanins which is known for fighting various forms of cancer.

4. Omega-3 fatty acids – Start depending on Salmon or any other fish which are high in Omega-3 fatty acids to reduce cancer risk.

5. Eat Wholegrain – Intake of fiber through wholegrain carbohydrates helps reduce cancer risk and trimming waistline.

6. Vitamin D Food – Intake of food rich in Vitamin 0 like low-fat milk helps in detoxifying cancer causing chemicals.

7. Take high caliber drink – University of Arizona has revealed that taking lemon zest and orange zest which contain d-limonene, an antioxidant that reduces skin cancer by up to 30 percent.

8. Take egg yolk – A research carried out in 2009 suggests that egg yolk may reduce cancer risk as it contains choline, which is known to reduce breast cancer risk.

9. Drink Hot Tea – A research published in Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry said drinking two to six cups of green hot tea in a day helps preventing skin cancer and reverse aging effects.

10. Eat fruits and vegetables – A study found that those who take more fruits and vegetables had a 70 percent lower risk of getting digestive-tract cancer.
